Right of Appeal
When a right of appeal is conferred by a statute it becomes a vested right. The right of appeal, where it exists, is a matter of substance, not of procedure. There is inherent right to a litigant to a judicial proceeding and it requires no authority of law, to see the correctness of the judgment.
