Criminal Responsibility
Even mere presence at the scene of the crime may, under certain circumstances, be sufficient to qualify as complicity. From the evidence of PW 3, a live witness, it is found that the accused by his presence in the crime site and by his culpable acts substantially encouraged and facilitated the main perpetrators in committing the crime and also he shared the intent similar to that of the main perpetrators and thus obviously he knew the consequence of his acts which provided moral support and assistance to the principal perpetrators.
