Possession of women
The two explanations
appended to section 5 of the Ordinance make it abundantly clear that a
possession of a woman obtained through import or export or sale or hire with
the intent that such woman might be employed or used for the purpose of
prostitution shall be presumed. until the contrary is proved, that such
possession was for the purpose of prostitution-Cruelty to Women (Deterrent
